As the event enters its 34th year, it is set to once again take centre stage at the Pacific Coliseum and the Agrodome in Vancouver, British Columbia. Scheduled for April 3rd and 4th, the upcoming Tradeshow promises to deliver an unforgettable experience filled with exciting exhibits, hands-on demonstrations, networking opportunities, and much more. This year’s event holds special significance as it marks Lordco’s 50th anniversary.
Changing things up for April is Richard's 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger, a purpose-built drag car. No detail was skipped on this monster of a machine built by Spare Parts Racing out in Langford British Columbia. 500-plus cubic inches of Mopar power, 270 trick flow heads, and a full nitrous system ensure a fast quarter mile time with every successful pass.
The beautiful purple paint job was done by Eric Laporte, while the rest of the build and tuning was done by Richard himself. This car has completed numerous low ten-second passes at Mission Raceway and will continue to pull fast time slips as the vehicle progresses.
